அமைதியாக இருத்தல்

பக்தன்‌ ஒருவன்‌ கோயிலுக்குச்‌ சென்றான்‌. அவனது கூடையில்‌ ஆண்டவனுக்குச்‌ சமர்ப்பிப்பதற்காக வாழைப்பழம்‌🍌 தேங்காய்‌🥥 கற்பூரம்‌ இருந்தது. 

தேங்காய்‌ பேச ஆரம்பித்தது நம்‌ மூவரில்‌ நானே கெட்டியானவன்‌ பெரியவனும்கூட என்றது. அடுத்து வாழைப்பழம்‌ நமது மூவரில்‌ நானே இளமையானவன்‌ இனிமையானவன்‌ என்று பெருமைப்பட்டுக்‌ கொண்டது. கற்பூரமோ எதுவும்‌ பேசாமல்‌ மெளனம்‌ காத்தது. பக்தன்‌ சந்நிதியை அடைந்தான்‌. தேங்காய்‌ உடைபட்டது. பழத்தோல்‌ உரிக்கப்பட்டது. கற்பூரமோ தீபம்‌ ஏற்றியதும்‌ ஒளிவிசி பிரகாசித்து சிறிது நேரத்தில்‌ கரைந்து ஒன்றும்‌ இல்லாமல்‌ போனது.

பக்தர்களாகிய நாம்‌ இதிலிருந்து ஒன்றை நன்றாகப்‌ புரிந்து கொள்ள வேண்டும்‌. நாம்‌ தேங்காய்‌ போல்‌ கர்வத்துடன்‌ இருந்தால்‌ ஒருநாள்‌ நிச்சயம்‌ உடைபடுவோம்‌. இனிமையாக இருந்தாலும்‌ வாழைப்பழம்‌ போல்‌ தற்பெருமை பேசித்‌ திரிந்தால்‌ ஒருநாள்‌ கிழிபடுவோம்‌. கற்பூரம்‌ போல்‌ அமைதியாக இருந்துவிட்டால்‌ இருக்கும்‌ வரை ஓளிவீசி இறுதியில்‌ மீதமின்றி இறைவனோடு இரண்டறக்‌ கலந்து போவோம்‌. 

கற்பூரம்‌ போல்‌ அமைதியாக இருந்துவிட்டால்‌ இருக்கும்‌ வரை ஒளிவீசி இறுதியில்‌ மீதமின்றி இறைவனோடு இரண்டறக்‌ கலந்து போவோம்‌.

Don't waste time in reaching the holy feet of Lord Shiva

Free ye your souls from pains of wrath and lust; henceforth the time shall not be long drawn out !

There enter’d we in ecstasy shall sing the glories only of Bhuyangan-king.

There is no more time for us to waste. So before the gates of Sivaloka (abode of Lord Shiva) closes, let us free ourselves from the wrath and lust. Prepare yourself to reach the holy feet of Lord Shiva. Let us all praise the glories of Lord who is wearing a snake around his neck and who is ruling all of us. By this, we can reach the abode of Lord Shiva. 

In the above song, Manickavasagar tells us not to waste any more time in reaching the holy feet of Lord Shiva.

அடைவோம்‌ நாம்போய்ச்‌ சிவபுரத்துள்‌ அணியார்‌ கதவ தடையாமே 

புடைபட்‌ டுருகிப்‌ போற்றுவோம்‌ புயங்கன்‌ ஆள்வான்‌ புகழ்களையே.

விளக்கம்:

மேன்மைப்படுவதற்கு இனிமேல் ஒருகாலம் கிடையாது. ஆகையால் சிவலோகத்தின் அழகிய கதவு நமக்கு அடைக்கப்படாதிருக்கும்படி கோபத்தையும் காம நோயையும் விட்டு விடுங்கள். நம்மை உடைய பெருமானுடைய திருவடிக்கீழ் பெரிய கூட்டத்தோடு உடன் செல்வதற்கு மனம் இசையுங்கள். பாம்பை அணிந்தவரும் நம்மை ஆள்பவருமாகிய இறைவனுடைய பெருமைகளை எங்கும் சூழ்ந்து மனமுருகிப் போற்றுவோம். போற்றினால் சிவலோகத்தில் நாம் போய்ச் சேர்ந்து விடுவோம்.

The Knowledge of Atman

The Knowledge of Atman refers to the Knowledge attained according to every individual's capacity. Till date, nobody could exactly describe the Knowledge of Atman. It is because if the man lives for 100 years, the Knowledge of Atman exists for more than million years.

The description about the Knowledge of Atman is like the blind people describing about the elephant after touching it. The one who touched the elephant's leg will describe it as a pillar. The one who touched the elephant's ear will describe it as a winnow. The both are true in their aspect. But the leg and the ear alone doesn't become an elephant. In the same way, everybody has seen only a part of the Knowledge of Atman.

ஆத்ம ஞானம்

ஆத்ம ஞானம்‌ என்பது அவரவர்களால்‌ அறியப்படுகிற ஒரு பொருள்‌. இன்று வரை யாராலும்‌ அதைப்பற்றி முழுவதுமாக சொல்ல முடியவில்லை. சொல்ல முடியாததன்‌ காரணம்‌ மனிதன்‌ நூறு வருடங்கள்‌ வாழ்கிறான்‌ என்றால்‌ ஆன்மாவின்‌ தத்துவமோ கோடிக்கணக்கான வருடங்களாக இந்த உலகத்தில்‌ வாழ்கிறது. 

ஆத்ம ஞானத்ததைப்‌ பற்றி கருத்துக்கள்‌ சொல்வது குருடர்கள்‌ யானையைத்‌🐘 தொட்டு தடவிப்‌ பார்த்து தங்களது கருத்துக்களை சொல்வது மாதிரி தான்‌ இருக்கும்‌. யானையின்‌ காலைத்‌ தொட்டு பார்த்தவன்‌ தூண்‌ மாதிரி இருப்பதாகச்‌ சொல்வான்‌. அதன்‌ காதை தொட்டு பார்த்தவன்‌ முறம்‌ மாதிரி இருப்பதாகச்‌ சொல்வான்‌. காதை தொட்டுப்‌ பார்த்தவன்‌ சொல்வதும்‌ நிஜம்தான்‌. காலை தொட்டுப்‌ பார்த்தவன்‌ சொல்வதும்‌ நிஜம்தான்‌. ஆனால்‌ காதும்‌ காலும்‌ மட்டும்‌ யானையாகாது. அவர்கள்‌ கண்டது ஆத்ம ஞானத்தின்‌ ஒரு பகுதி மட்டுமே.

Sun prayer (சூரிய வழிபாடு)

 திருப்பட்டூர் பிரம்மபுரீஸ்வரர் ஆலயத்தில் காலை சூரிய🌝 உதயத்தின் போது பிரம்மபுரீஸ்வரருக்கு சூரிய வழிபாடு நடைபெறும் காட்சி. இதுபோல் வருடத்தில் மூன்று நாட்கள் தொடர்ந்து சூரிய வழிபாடு நடக்கும்.
