Lord Shiva's first wife was Sati devi. Her father was Prajapathi Daksha. Daksha did not like Lord Shiva from the beginning😔. Also Sati devi married Lord Shiva against the wishes of Daksha. This made Daksha very angry😡. Daksha thought his pride would fall if he leaves Lord Shiva as such. So he decided to humiliate Lord Shiva. So he conducted a grand yagna and invited all devas and other deities except Lord Shiva😨. Sati devi, though uninvited to yagna, went there to make her father realise his mistake. But, Daksha spoke ill 🤬of her and Lord Shiva. So she entered into the fire🔥 which was made for Yagna. Lord Shiva on knowing this, sent Veerbhadra to destroy yajna. 😤 Veerbhadra destroyed the yajna and the devas who participated in it. He beheaded Daksha. Then Daksha's wife apologized to Lord Shiva🥺. Then Lord Shiva gave life to all devas and made Daksha's body to join with a goat head🐐 and gave his life back. Daksha, with his pride completely gone, fell at the feet of Lord Shiva realizing his mistake.😇
