Manickavasagar praising the grace of Lord Shiva

He taught the way of pious love ;—and that ‘old deeds’ might cease and flee,

Manickavasagar says that Lord Shiva helps people like us who mingle with those who doesn't know the path of liberation, by showing us the path of devotion. He not only does this but also he makes us one of his own by his grace. This makes Manickavasagar to wonder about the grace of Lord.
