 FIRM DETERMINATION OF THIRUNAVUKARASAR:💐💐

Thirunavukarasar (Appar) during his old age had a wish to get darshan of Lord Shiva and Parvati devi at Mount Kailash.  So he set on a journey by his foot🚶‍♂️to Mount Kailash.  He crossed many cities, towns🌆🌇, forests🌾🌾🌵🌵.  He visited many Lord Shiva temples in North India during his journey.  But due to his old age, his legs🦶🏼 got weakened and was unable to walk.  But that could not stop Appar.  He crawled on the ground and the blood oozed from the body.  He even crawled on the back and rolled on the ground due to his firm determination of getting the darshan of Lord Shiva at Mount Kailash.  So Lord Shiva in the form of saint appeared before Appar and said that he will not get darshan of Lord Shiva here.  But Appar declared " Either I shall have a darshan of Lord Shiva here or I shall die here".  So Lord Shiva convinced Appar to take a dip in nearby pond and said he would have his darshan at Thiruvaiyaaru.  Appar did the same.

Nowadays, most of us are not determined to finish our work or task that we carry on.  But Appar who had the wish to have darshan of Lord Shiva at Mount kailash was very much determined and was focused on his goal.

So the above incident from Appar's life becomes a lesson for us to be DETERMINED AND FOCUSED in any activity which we undertake
