Some points regarding Siva Lingam

SIVA LINGAM:

---------------

The Five elements (Fire🔥, Water💧, Space🌌, Land🌏 and Air🌬) form the basics of life in this earth. These five elements are formed from the Two kinds of sakthi (Power or Energy) (i.e) movable and immovable. These two energies has become male👦🏻 and female👧🏻 forms and forms the basis of operation of this world. The LINGAM is the combination of the 'Purusha' symbol of universal male and 'Prakriti' symbol of universal female. LINGAM is the aniconic representation of Lord Shiva. The word 'LIM (LIN)' denotes the creation of a life and 'GAM' denotes the destruction of a life. And LINGAM denotes Lord Shiva who is responsible for both creation and destruction.

---------------

The five Gods Brahma, Vishnu, Rudra, Maheswara, Sadasiva are the components of Lord Shiva. Only three zones which represent the above 5 Gods are visible in Lingam. The lower zone denotes Lord Brahma (The creator). The middle zone denotes Lord Vishnu (The Preserver) and the top zone denotes Lord Rudra (The Destroyer).  Lord Maheshwara (The Concealer), Lord Sadashiva (The Bestower of Grace) are combined with the other three Gods and do not have a separate zone in the Lingam.
