Thinking about death

We can't see darkness when there is sun. Similarly, when one sincerely think about God, he won't have the thought of death.

When Thirunavukkarasar (Appar) obtained the Knowledge of God, he got converted from Jainism to Shaivism. Seeing this, the jains tortured him and even tried to kill him. Since Appar always had the thought of Lord Shiva, he never thought about death.

So whoever sincerely thinks of God will overcome the thought of death.
